Nashville Tourism During Covid: Is the City Doing Enough? – Rolling Stone
The Bluebird Cafe
If you’ve watched the TV show “Nashville” you know what the Bluebird is. I didn’t watch the show, but it’s a tiny room with musicians playing in it. Often those musicians are songwriters that have written a hit or two for one of your favorite stars.
Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum
If you are a fan of rock ’n’ roll and mainstream pop music, this is very cool despite its unassuming location. If you have kids interested in music, there’s a HUGE selection of electronic instrument stations where you can play drums, guitar, keyboards, beat boxes, and even sing.
Nashville Huskers
Just in case you are traveling during football season, this is a group of Husker fans that live in Nashville. Wow.

The 5 Spot Live
If a visitor is in Nashville on a Tuesday and digs live music, the 5 Spot’s Two Dollar Tuesdays are a solid bet. $2 gets you in. $2 local Yazoo beers all night. The music usually spans multiple genres, but generally rocks. Fun, East Nashville, musician-oriented hang.

Nice short video reviewing some cool places to go in Nashville.
Belcourt Theatre
Great old movie theater. Shows low-distribution and classic movies generally. THEY DO HAVE A BAR!
Things To Do In Nashville (Nashville Scene)
The Ryman
Classic destination for live music in Nashville. Used to be home of the Grand Ole Opry.
The Station Inn
Supposed to be a Nashville Bluegrass original. I had the pleasure of seeing Sturgill Simpson and his band perform there in 2014 before he was a big deal.
Greenways
Go for a walk, ride or run on any of these paths all around Nashville. I frequently go to the one that starts by the Percy Priest dam and goes to the Kohl’s parking lot on Lebanon Rd.
Third Man Records
Are you a Jack White fan? Well, this is his place.
The (Nashville) Parthenon
Like the original, only made of steel-reinforced concrete!
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
If you REALLY like country music, this is bound to be of interest
